What is cremation?
Cremation is the process of burning a dead body at very high temperatures until there are only brittle, calcified bones left, which are then pulverized into "ashes." These ashes can be kept in an urn, buried, scattered, or even incorporated into objects as part of the last rites of death.
What is the difference between individual and communal cremation?
As a rule, all of our cremations are individual cremations. An individual cremation is when your pet is the only pet being processed at that time. We offer communal cremation if you have one or more pets that need to be cremated and want their ashes to be combined. We also do communal cremations for pets we are asked to cremate, but the owners do not wish their ashes to be returned. This is a less expensive way to have your pet cremated. We then spread their ashes for the owners on our property.
Will you pick up my pet from my home?
Yes. We can pick up your pet and bring it to our facility. Location and distance are factors that will determine the rate for pick up and delivery.
My pet passed away, and I am unsure what to do now.
Call us as soon as possible so we can move forward with the cremation process!
However, if it is the middle of the night or you cannot call us immediately, wrap your pet in a towel or blanket that you are comfortable cremating with your pet. If it is going to be more than a few hours after your pet passes before you can call us, then you may want to consider placing your pet in a plastic bag and putting them in a cold place, a freezer, if possible. This will save you some unpleasant smells and prevent unpleasant cleanup.
How soon can I get my pet's cremains back if I choose cremation?
Generally, we can have remains returned to you within a week. With arrangements and a rush fee, we can have them done and ready for you overnight.
How do I know that I am getting my pet's cremains back?
As a rule, we always do individual cremations.
How much does cremation cost?
Cost is based on the size and weight of your pet. We have a minimum fee of $120. Your pet will be returned to you in our standard urn or box. However, we do have options for upgraded urns
Can I have my pet cremated with his pet bed and blanket?
Of course, we want you and your pet to be as comfortable as possible. We can keep your pet in its bed or wrapped in its blanket and placed gently in our crematorium.
Do you provide euthanasia services?
Only a licensed Veterinarian can provide this service in Wyoming. We have good relationships with several Veterinarians in our area. We can help you make these arrangements or possibly have the vet visit your home and administer the drugs.
